The draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over, except members of The County of Salop Steam Engine Society Ltd and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
By entering competitions and/or prize draws held by the Promotor, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Only one entry will be accepted per household. Multiple entries from the same household will be disqualified.
Entry is by purchasing ‘Steam Ahead’ online tickets, or a Camping and Caravanning Booking to the Shrewsbury Steam Rally 2023, by the closing date.
The closing date for entry will be clearly advertised. Afterwhich, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draw and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the prize draw shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this prize draw.
The prize is as stated, and no cash alternatives will be offered. Prizes are subject to availability and weather conditions on the day of the Rally, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of similar value without giving notice.
The winners will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process from all qualifying entries received and verified by the Promoter and or its agents.
The winner will be notified within 36 hours of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not reply to the attempted notifications within 24 hours of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
The draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, or its agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or its agents or that of their employees.
