We are delighted to announce that the world-famous Red Arrows will be performing a flypast at 3:04pm on the Sunday afternoon of this year’s Shrewsbury Steam Rally.
Edward Goddard, Chairman of the rally Society said: “We are really excited and very pleased that one of the world’s premier aerobatic teams, the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, The Red Arrows, will be performing a flypast at this year’s rally. We welcome people to come along and see this amazing sight with a dramatic smoke display, as the Red Arrows fly in a ‘V formation’ of nine planes. This is of course, subject to the usual proviso of weather permitting – but great news!
2017 will be the 53rd display season for the Red Arrows in which they will continue to enthrall, captivate and inspire millions of people both in the UK and around the world with a series of displays and flypasts at a wide variety of events, and we are absolutely delighted to have been advised that they will be coming to add to the spectacle at our family-fun event”.
